A delicate rose, fragile to a point
A broken bone, stiff at the joint
A guilty rhyme
Comes together in time
Never let yourself slip from a fall
When morning comes, you can lose it all
They'll be there, with words that hear
They know their just what you fear
Lost in the pale light
One day, you'll end this fight
Between you and yourself
One day, you'll sit higher on your shelf
And this won't seem meaningless
It's just a written lovers caress
The scent of burning will fill your nose
You'll think of you, that rose
Fragile, yet strong
One day you'll feel like you belong
