Sometimes all you need is a terrible poem

Life is how you make it feel
You can make it fake or make it real
When your life has become a lie
All you think you can do is cry
But life is the way you make it feel

The way you walk, do you hold your head high?
The way you talk, does it sound like your going to die?
You think life is wrong
That everyone knew all along

You get to edge only not jump
Then you realize your throat is in a lump
The tears they will spill from dying eyes
All because of thoughtless lies
Does everything make you want to cry?

Knife at the ready
Don't forget to hold it steady
A new pain will a rise
The true genuine prize
Some wounds can never heal

Gun aimed and loaded
Who knew lies could be so candy coated?
The things you'll believe to make you feel better
All the love, neatly wrapped into a sweater
Are life of love, nothing can change that
Nothing can put me where you are at

Your sob story of a broken fairy tale
Is not a complete fail
With tragedy comes success
Later you will think you are the best
Much better than the rest

Life is how you make it feel
But it will always be real
You are you, you choose what you do
How you feel, what is real
You can be no one but you
Life is how you make it feel
